Greeneville Greene County History Museum

2016 Preservation Award

Greeneville Greene County History Museum received the Preservation Award for preservation of the Seth Babb cabin. The cabin of Revolutionary War soldier and pioneer Seth Babb was rescued from the elements, thanks to the work of the Greeneville Greene County History Museum. The cabin was dismantled and rebuilt on museum property across the street from the museum. With the addition of family artifacts, it will serve as a teaching and demonstration tool.
