Carolyn Melton Peck

Carolyn Peck has demonstrated her commitment to history, preservation, and the documentation of Loudon County and regional history. Carolyn was instrumental in establishing the Greenback Historical Society in 2006, and under her leadership, installed two Civil War Trails markers in the area. She also aided in efforts to list the Greenback train depot on the National Register of Historic Places. Carolyn launched a $1,000 scholarship in 2015 given to the Greenback High School senior who writes the winning essay on a stated historical topic.
